A neighbourhood that makes everyone feel like family. The residents of Craighall Park – property owners/tenants, restaurants and shops alike strive to make this suburb one of Jozi’s most sought after areas to live in. It is one of Johannesburg’s more upmarket northern areas situated between the west of Sandton with Parkhurst and Randburg very close by.
Craighall Park is one of the older suburbs in the city with large properties and beautiful gardens that add to the ambiance of it being a calm and tranquil neighbourhood. Enjoy brunch, cocktails or dinner dates with your bestie or bae in style at one of the many trendy spots. You will find the lifestyle quite easy going. Whilst some shy away from such delights and tend to focus on a much more exerting experience, The Craighall Sports Club offers a range of mostly sporting activities where you can sweat out the stresses of the week.
For those who have a bit of country in their soul, it’s always an enjoyable experience at the Riding Stables and the River Rangers at REEA where they also offer therapy and pony parties! – How amazing! Take your fur kids for a walk at delta park and chill out with a cuppa at Delta Park Café. With many cool venues for those nights when you’re in the mood to paint the town red, Craighall Park is within a few minutes drive from the likes of Hyde Park’s Island Bar at the Southern Sun Hotel (embrace the cocktails), The Royale (get your Cuban on) and the ace + pearl fine wine bar. Entertainment offering a variety for every personality.
We @michelleEtchells and myself @DamigioEsbach (The Etchells & Young Marketing duo) decided to visit the area for an up-close and personal experience. The staff and management of Corner Café gave us a warm welcome and were more than happy to host us in the search for our top hot spot in Craighall Park. In the midst of the winter cold, we the #etchellsonthego – team were treated to a beautiful meal, a beautiful morning, a serene sight and some insight into this award winning restaurant all courtesy of Etchells and Young Property Brokers.
We were delighted to learn that Cnr Café have gone green. Serving their water out of glass bottles and offering paper straws only among many other #beatplasticpolution initiatives. They also display the @getitjhbnorth magazine in the restaurant which customers may take free of charge. Big ups to Cnr café for fantastic food, great green initiatives and awesome vibe from breakfast through to dinner. We have therefore decided that #cnrcafecraighallpark is definitely our choice for the the hottest spot in the neighbourhood.
