Jelly Beanz: HOPE for Children Affected by Trauma and Abuse with #EtchellsCares

Our #EtchellsCares drive for June and July has been dedicated to helping beautiful children who go for play therapy at Jelly Beanz: HOPE for children affected by trauma and abuse.

#EtchellsCares love their time of the month when we get to hand over our donations through to each charity and this drive was especially special to us since our little Bella from Etchells & Young got to interview Marita Rademeyer, Clinical Psychologist and Chairman of Jelly Beanz.

“Re-rooting Africa: Africa’s routes to preventing & responding to child abuse, violence and neglect” is not only what Jelly Beanz live by but also, how each individual at the non-profit organization makes a difference each day.

On a mission to changes children’s lives, they embrace the process of children being free. Free to live, to love, to learn, to play and to grow – knowing that they matter. Most children and families who’ve experienced trauma and abuse don’t have access to mental health services and the support they need, so Jelly Beanz make it their duty to reach out to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged.

They offer direct therapeutic services to children and families, develop resources to support assessment and interventions, offer training and mentor-ship to professionals working with children and advocate for service-delivery to children who have suffered trauma and abuse.
